Remember when our management team members used to retire. They would have parties and meet ups at local watering holes. Sometimes some a$$ kiss would ask for a gift donation.

I was lucky to get my 30yr lunch before this Covid/Hackett/Farley mess took hold.

What's really crazy is all the people who are keeping it a secret until the last 2 weeks. Why? Just terrible leadership and most of them are in LL positions!

Farley pi---d the blue oval away! People don't believe in Ford any more, employees don't believe in Ford any more, dealerships don't like the direction Ford is heading, Gen Z and above employees, don't even buy Ford vehicles...don't believe me, check the Ford parking lots! Hail Titanic!!

Hackett was the beginning of the end. Fields wasn't great but at least was competent enough to communicate with banks and investors. Hackett's ' redesign ' and design thinking and the insane amount of money spent at IDEO has produced nothing. Can anyone list 3 achievements from DFord that has improved profits?????? Farley is a sociopath. Really sad both of them have destroyed loyalty as well as the lives of long time talent that shouldered the burdens of poor leadership through challenging times. Ford Smart Mobility, huge FAIL. Michigan Central Station, huge FAIL. ARGO, huge FAIL. I was recruited from Berkeley, everyone warned me on the lies Ford sows and I now I witness it firsthand. It's simply disgraceful. Farley I believe will make deeper cuts into the workforce, and he should start at the leadership levels. Terminate Musgraves. Terminate Franck Louis Victor. Terminate Truby. Terminate DFord. Terminate the losers from HP. Send a clear message, incompetence will not be tolerated.

Everything has gone so far to sh#@ at Ford, that someday it feels like Hackett was really a mole from the other OEMs to convince Ford to tear itself apart from the inside. Hackett convinced Ford to offload all their talent, eliminate testing and focus on quality, and then fill their ranks with kids and no experience outside hires. Only id--ts would do that...oh wait, yeah, our leadership are id--ts.

Well, they really screwed up the quality. In the past, Ford was much better at systems engineering then GM or FCA (Stellantis). They would catch most issues before they reached the customer. All that has been "streamlined" away. Now, the customer is doing DV/PV testing.

The FORD MTOR CO as we know it is gone. Time will tell if JF can demonstrate he knows what he is doing. So far not impressed. As one poster put it his resume is thin for accomplishments. BF well his track record speaks for itself. Way in over his head. Company has lost focus on both product and quality.
