Will there be any AutoZOne layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

In the Bakersfield district including LA they have cut 100 hrs from every store and complain why sales aren't up theirs only 2 people at the counters helping 10-25 people at a time due to this now
Commercial HR ankle-biting field team. Looking for ANY little out of the ordinary thing to initiate an HR investigation (witch hunt). Feels like creating a “case” against field sales and ops in the hopes of getting them to quit. “The process is the punishment”. Stupid amount of interest in telematics and notes. Everyone is a criminal if they feel like looking at you. God help you if you are straight white male over 50…..DEI running rampant. You better like Kool-Aid. Sad really. Great culture getting crushed from within.
Layoffs? They can't find people to work in stores. Well...at least not more than a few weeks at time. Regional on up out of touch. Most work only a few hours a day and leave early in their company cars.
