Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Get Out or Quit Complaining

It’s going to be like this for at least another 5 years. I retired on my own. I worked for Fiserv a little over 3.5 years and have to say it’s the worst place I’ve ever worked. Super hostile environment, from the outside, place looks great, the building is actually what attracted me to apply. First year was tough, super clicky environments. My entire team worked remote and all nice as can be on phone, but back stabbers, and then go MIA, my position was filled 4 times, all walked out within a year, manager never had video conf once, gals said they didn’t shower or have their make-up on, manager only supported senior members of team whom all ended up being let go by the Frank regime. If you feel uncomfortable, I would recommend to get out or plan to suffer and hate every day of your work life. It’s not like that at other companies. I worked at fortune 100/500 companies. Fiserv is a horrible place to work and will be years before things get better. Other companies are NOT the same. The grass is greener on the other side.

I worked there for 17 years and enjoyed my time until First Data was acquired by Fiserv...I mean Fiserv was acquired by First Data, at least that's how it ended up feeling. Fortunately I was ready to retire and didn't have to endure the discomfort of working for First Data too long. It was a good run and retirement is great!

Totally agree. I worked there 5 yrs in the Atlanta office. Most of original FD were hoping Jeff would remain CEO, but nope, Frank took the job. He's running it just like FD- any slowdowns result in layoffs and the already bare thin staff are expected to pick up the slack. Fiserv does not care about people. It also required the covid shot as a condition of continued employment, regardless of what the real science indicated. Fiserv is literally the worst company I have worked at.

If your resume is not up to date and you are not actively looking to go somewhere else, shame on you!

Frank is not going to give two craps about you, your family, or how your life turns out.

" I retired on my own."

It is the second sentence.

Why do you think they have time in the middle of a workday? Do you think all companies pay employees to post here? I think there might only be one company that does that.

100% agree - looks great from outside - once your in its the worst managed company ever. (they think they are great, such a clueless bunch) Run and run now you will never be happy in a toxic, backstabbing, tight knit group that runs things and more than half would never make it in another company they are fake and simply put bad managers who do nothing but have meetings and dream up ways to make all of you believe its really not that bad. LMAO I cannot wait to see the mass exodus of clients happening soon but Fiserv does care.

The irony of the HR shill saying "you have no power here"... on a fu----g layoff board. Hilarious.

Let me ask _you_ something - why do _you_ spend your work day on a layoff site trying to promote this sh---y company to people who already work there and know how awful it is? I know the answer to this one - FB and his cronies are paying you to do so.

Hilarious that you are doing so well but come to this site in the middle of your work day to rail on a company you don't even work at. But you revealed the truth - for those who work at home who aren't SME's Contact Center or Sales/RM - they are feeling vulnerable. For the remaining 40.000 we love Fiserv and couldn't disagree more. We are proud to work here and love what we do. You have no power here. Enjoy your day!
