If you all are that worried for St. Judes and are donors email them your concerns. Let them know you will be hold your donations if she is in their employment, do not just come here and complain.
One of my former Sears coworkers described her management style best, he called it “ruthless”. She was Eddie’s right hand who carried out his toxic orders ruthlessly. To see her end up in a cushy position where children are involved is chilling to say the least
Read up on all the patents, and there's a lot, co-authored by Leena and Eddie. It's eye opening to see how a multitude of terrible ideas paired with catastrophic implementation destroyed the company, and outside of an IT engineer here and there it never really got of that circle of 2.
Things like ShopYourWay , the ludicrous digital assistant that had sweat shop call centers instead of AI at the back end and metrics focus were all cooked up over years by just the two of them. Every bad "transformational' idea can be laid at hers and Eddie's feet. He said at the beginning that he didn't mind $55B in annual sales to $55M of it brought about the future, like Apple or what happened at GD haha. He legitimately and unambiguously saw himself as Steve Jobs, an idea man with his digital partner in crime ready to change the world.
Sears demise is not her fault and everyone needs a job. Take time to think about how much Sears and Kmart raised for St. Judes in their hay day. Show compassion for other, we need it in this country right now.
