Perhaps that sounds harsh, but that's how I feel when I'm unfairly criticized.
My impression is that the boss isn't trying to navigate the way to a positive outcome, but to hide the fact that he is the one of the culprits for why the work could not be done well.
How many times have you been unfairly criticized lately, even though you shouldn't be blamed at all?
