Don't be discouraged by stories that the market is very bad. No it's not. In general, it is quite functional. I have three interviews next week. I had to put in a lot of effort, send a large number of applications, expand my network of contacts, but it was worth it. If you have sharp skills, don't be discouraged and think that you will experience a debacle if you are LRd. That's a wrong approach.

And if you said no to the mandates, you are really sitting pretty, and will be for years to come. Everyone loves a winner, after all.
