Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Promotions?

Has anyone heard about them promoting people or giving salary increases next year?

Promotion? You are lucky if you haven't gotten laid off by Fiserv yet.

The company can promote anyone at anytime, but annual promotions occurs after reviews in February or March. Don’t count on it because HR polcies aren’t written on paper. My department didn’t have anyone promoted for two years.

The Living Proof program was MUCH better before FB's crew ruined it. It had a nice community feel to it and you could see and comment on others' awards. Now, it is completely isolated and impossible to find anything. Gift levels have also been degraded significantly. Nice one, FB.

Fiserv as a rule has always underpaid compared to the rest of the industry. Ignore the troll talking about it’s better now than the JY days, that’s grossly false and they either have no clue what they are talking about or just plain lying. I am sure there will be some increases next year and a few promotions as the company continues to reorganize attempting to plug holes created by the mass layoffs. The feeling I get is this will be very fluid until at minimum until the economy stabilizes. In the world of Frank you can be promoted one week laid off the next so wouldn’t get to comfy.

If your talking about the stock option bonus, those talk 3 years to fully vest and an unvested stocks are forfeited when you quite. I just lost all my stock option bonus from 2022 because I left.

Thanks for the early morning laugh. Fiserv underpays vs the industry somewhere around 50% on average. Everyone I've know that has left has gotten a sizable bump in pay due to how low the salaries are. Lol.

You have to put in your two week’s notice for a raise (if your manager thinks you’re essential)

Best Paying????? Ha Ha it is to laugh. I told a recruiter once of my hourly rate and she laughed at it. You're kidding right??? Nope. Our manager tried to a raise for our group - denied. The rule is this: when hired, accept sub-standard pay, learn something and then leave to make more money somewhere else. And this was during the Yabuki days too.

Very discouraging….even as fast food and production workers see the raise of their hourly wages…hourly associates wages and value are diminished

Fiserv is one of the best paying companies in Fintech. Great base salary, career progression in most entry level jobs, living proof and bonuses for most positions. Stock purchase did punt and 401k match. Much more competitive than the jy days.

When inflation is somewhere around double digits these aren't "salary increases"

We are all being tricked into doing more for less

You are more likely to be shot by Bigfoot than get a promotion outside of NJ.

Promotions? If you’re not in NY/NJ you have a better shot at seeing Bigfoot.

No. they're all going through initial rounds of collaboration now and will determine rankings then finalize and money will be divided into units. then divided again into groups where the "remaining" money will be allocated into bonus. Expect the cookie cutter 1-2% raise across the board for most and a divided portion of your max percent into part cash and part vesting stock for the bonus. We'll make "numbers". We always do because that's how senior leadership makes their money... in stocks.
