DXC: Quiet quitting

"Quiet quitting refers to a rising trend where employees are doing the bare minimum at work, a reversal of the tendency to go above and beyond in the workplace."

It's obvious things aren't going to improve at DXC. The CEO is indeed a Narcissist. On the front lines of the IT squad we are dealing with poorly written KBs, or KB's that don't apply while we deal with frustrated Raytheon (our customer) employees.

I'm looking for something else obviously, but in today's working remote world and within IT I'm kind of at that glass ceiling pay wise (mid 50's).

So I'm engaged in the policy of "quiet quitting" while looking for something else, re-assessing where I should go from here, and what my options are. It really takes the stress off.

The whole philosophy of DXC is to help convince customers to 'save money' by using DXC to provide tech services. Any one else here want to comment how underpaid employees from Puerto Rico are whether they are project managers or IT Tier 2 workers? One guy opened up to me and told me he's making like 16 an hour. Uhh, factories around here pay that, and I'm not talking about bust your bu-t factories.

I should clarify that you need to talk to your Raytheon manager not your DXC manager. I did not tell my DXC manager until the day I gave my notice to leave DXC.

Talk to your manager. DXC is not stopping employees from converting to Raytheon employees. I was in GBS and I suspect that the contract was not renewed. GIS has a contract between Raytheon and DXC. If you are in GIS it might be harder to convert.

I was on the Raytheon account in Enterprise Services. I was offered the opportunity to become a RTX Employee and jumped at the chance. If possible, see if you can convert to RTX Employee. I am a "mature" employee. lol

I did not know what I do had a name.

Do just enough to get average good grade. Pit hand up now and again.

The fact I do about 30 percent of my capacity is due to this hideous company and pay awards.

Why not left? Great work life balance, my boss and peers think I am hard working. Hilarious 😂

Mikey Q3 conference call: "Now let me turn to the progress we are making on our transformation journey. The first step of the journey is to inspire and take care of our colleagues. Hiring was a major focus of ours. And we ramped up our hiring engine to meet the high level of demand and to activate more project work." I'm laughing so hard I might p-e myself
