Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Management has no clue what Agile really is

I am tired of hearing in Tech and Ops we have to be agile...really no..management just has to stop making horribly bad decisions and try to shove them down peoples throats...I used to truly care about this company and doing the right things...
Congratulations...your poor decisions and forcing the lower class to suck it up or leave since we are going to send your job offshore anyhow...has succeeded in me just doing what I am told..no more..and watching systems crash cause it's not my job anymore..it's overseas...
Just waiting for the layoff...

They are too busy focusing on the tiny percent of "defects" that they have to report up to prove they care about risk. When, in reality, their lack of understanding of how to truly implement scaled agile is the biggest risk to the organization.

I say you can make a case for it on the tech side but they are also trying to shove it down our throats on the business side and not having much luck. We've been agile for over a year now and it takes twice as long to get anything done.

I wish we could be agile in WFHM. We have a search engine that is, well, among other things - there are no filters available, not even by date, no spell check in search box and we hear from tech they don't want to be bothered with incremental updates because we'll have a great new search engine in 2-3 years. So much for agile!

Is tech affected?
