Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

We cannot function properly so short staffed

Stress caused by heavy workloads and lack of support is enormous. Given that our team can no longer function properly because it is terribly short staffed, the conclusion is that the manager has failed at his job.

How many other teams are struggling with not having enough people? Many. This has become a joke of a company.

Stress is not a thing. Why would you stress over something the leadership team has caused?

It's operations: special ops vs special ed. We have rockstar masochists willing to do anything to keep their job against selfish opportunists who want compensation first before they absorb any additional responsibilities. The hopeless vs the hopeful. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I remember when they said “ the industry needs consolidation “
Xerox was right about that and now it appears due to Covid, lack of a buyer, HP merger, ect. Now the industry will see elimination.
Too Bad it’s Xerox, all things reset with the big ones falling first.
There’s a quote from a guy who took/stole/borrowed ( you decide) some ideas from Xerox and made one of the biggest companies in history,
“ Never think you’re smarter than your customer “

We're short staffed too. Unlike in the past, I don't take on extra work. I just do my eight hours and go home. This job is just a paycheck. I could care less if customers leave or sales aren't made because I'm not planning on being here much longer.

I take my time. I don't stress about pi---d off customers. I do my 8-5 and leave my work phone in the van.

It's time to let go and ride this burning ship down. Have fun with it, make it a game. See how much you can pi-s of your customers before they threaten to cancel.

I am done making these rich fu--s money.
