This actually is amusing in a way. With many people WFH it is tempting to work two jobs..
The Work Number to the rescue! The Equifax Workforce Solutions business unit keeps a vast database of "where you work" and "your payslips". They sell this as "The Work Number" product. When you are doing a background check on a candidate you can, with permission, get a report on a persons work history.
Thinking outside the box, someone at EWS said.. "hey lets look for people with overlapping work history -- they might be working multiple jobs". Companies would pay for that..

Immediately a list of EQUIFAX employees pop on the screen -- some with 3 jobs!
Imagine the product tracking your VPN.. You only logged into work 20 hours this week.. You charged 40 on your timesheet. And oh by the way we see you work full time at this other company..
Thus the CEO has smoke coming out of his ears. Rightly so.

Equifax got a sweet deal and will be moving into some of that office space.
