The other shoe just dropped. Just heard all regional travel is now cancelled and needs approval across the country as a cost saving measure. In my region for the coordinators to go to a store means booking a flight and hotel. If they aren't coming to stores what is there job? Looks like another layer of fat is about to get cut

Regional can travel to he-l.
how many times are going to predict regional cuts only for them to still survive like the roaches they are
Amazon earnings bad on the retail side maybe regional layoffs next cut the fat.
Except some of them live near their regional location and not a store so would they be allowed to drive extra miles to be on stores if Amazon doesn't want to pay them for that extra mileage?
gonna make em all hump product in the stores for the holidays.....lets see ya work...
I work in regional, they have cut programs in the past or projects in Q4 sure, but never told entire regional teams they could not visit stores because of flights expenses or mileage reimbursement. I'm sure it's happened to the occasional region or two in the past but never the entire company all at once.
It does happen in every region, every year. This year tho, they announced it
This has never happened in my region
This happens every year at the same exact time. It’s when it carries into and through the new year is when you know something is coming.
Labor bands expanded in Q3 only to be cut in Q4 with Regional Executive Leadership diffusing all responsibility of their incompetence. I hate this POS company more and more every day. Amazon has been using us for our brick and mortar fvcking the customer that comes to the store with a horrible shopping experience while incentivizing the salaried to bend over backward for the online customer. I hate unions but would love to see some organization that would stick a big middle finger up Amazon's @ss.
