Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

No more free food

I wonder how much money Intel could have saved by removing this benefit soon as the carpet dwellers and pot belly Engineers came back to the buildings. We could have probably saved some jobs and prevented these people from digging their own graves with their teeth.

If you find yourself using the phrase "carpet dwellers" then you don't matter

Heads up - prices charged for eggs might be increasing due to the Bird Flu. Budget a little extra here.

Serious question: Which campus had/has free food? Food that was "eh" in quality has always cost $7-15 per meal for what Ingredients Cafe served. It was only free for essential workers for a few years during COVID in Oregon. You even have to pay $2.73 for a cup of hot water (discounted price if you bring your own cup). So tell me, are you all trolls or is there a well kept secret out there?

Layoff people and use the saved money to keep the free food for the people. Got to have something for people to come to work for!

Enough! No more! Your food is at the grocery store. That’s where to go to get it.

Its a tax write-off you dolt, the employer gets to deduct the cost of the meals as a business expense. Maybe you should sign up for an educational course.
