Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Done & Done

So long from the Class of Dec ‘24.

Hoping for the best for you all (even the poster who’s gonna says “we’re not an airport so no need to announce departures” or “don’t let the door hit you on the way out” or “about time Boomer”).

You all should try to be nicer to each other but I’m not optimistic given the crud I’ve seen on this forum (but you really should just try).

All the best for my former colleagues!!

" ...even VP's just utterly disgusted by what has been happening here and they have absolutely no control over it whatsoever..."

Makes me kind of respect the few select ones like Sambar, who saw what was coming and couldn't sit smile and just spew the BS any longer.

Hold the door open. Or just take it off the hinges. Sounds like many more to follow. Willing and not so willing!

Definitely too much in-fighting. C-Suite and BOD is where the anger should be placed. Not each other.
I have never seen so much frustrating and distrust in over 25 years. Directors, AVP's even VP's just utterly disgusted by what has been happening here and they have absolutely no control over it whatsoever.

I and team wishing on you the best of the luck.
You can come back as consulting guy and work with I and said team.
At such of time the ticket of ride program will still be going and the hippy lady heidi will do the welcome back. Said lady will not know your name but you can throw apple at her like she is monkey and she will do the react.

"no need to announce your departure"

Damn -- he even wrote it for you and you still could not get it right.

Sounds like someone we'll genuinely miss!

Best of luck and good health in whatever the future brings.

That was actually a nice, civil post. We all should try to be nicer and understanding. A layoff is a shock to the system for anyone impacted. We don't know the impact to them and their families, it's always a wrenching thing to go through.
