You know what? I’m starting to think maybe the greeters and bakery clerks at the grocery store are happier! This place is like doing time- wishing the days would just go faster. I dream of a job where I look forward to going and feel like I accomplished something- even if it’s stocking shelves or helping someone find the glue in isle 12. I know I’m the je-k with the gold handcuffs.
Think I will look at working at McDonald’s.
I saw where Walmart pays up to $23.00 per hour to gather their grocery carts from the parking lot and back into the store. You have to be able to do that in any weather. Usually after I put my groceries in the car, the Walmart employee that does that will offer to take my cart for me. They are always pleasant. A greeter job at Walmart wouldn't be bad if it paid that much or more. Also, Walmart has a Money Center in their Customer service area. Another good job possibility. They also sometimes have a Woodforest Bank in their stores. Another good job possibility. Jobs are out there. I wish all of you all the best luck in your job searches.
