Really? The real reason why Broadcom kept Carbon Black is because no one would buy the sorry technology. The buyer backed out of the deal once they saw the numbers.

Are you really serious? Move on and learn something new. Symantec and Carbon Black are outdated technologies with no future. Customers have figured it out. Are you going to be your career on these old products?

Before you gloat, take the following into consideration: some of us (e.g., yours truly) have, after leaving Broadcom, have landed into Infosec roles where we may be in a position to choose between CB and their competitors.

Bro, no matter how many salty posts you make, your layoff cannot be reversed. Accept it and move forward, you will have a bright future.

Damn straight. This is the way: do what you gotta do to get yours… and a little luck doesn’t hurt.

And let’s be honest: if you are Carbon Black… it’s not like you are working all that hard. ;-)

Still time to get fired before March.

And show a little empathy for your fallen comrades.
