When are they going to announce? I’m in a group with toxic environment. I want to get my package and take a break. If I knew it will be working with a bunch of people like that, I wouldn’t quit my previous job and join.

Europe has worker rights so won't be then, US is where all the suckers are.
The norm is 1 week of pay per "completed" year of service.
If you're already eligible for Sabbatical, it will be paid, though at the "one time bonus" higher tax rate. Same with vacation time, QPB, APB, etc.
Packages are much smaller than 2016 ACT.
Everyone has to be gone (off of the books) by EOY.
(These one-time pay outs will destroy any tax planning you've done for the year--be warned.)

Doesn’t matter which country. The point is, I regret joining the group. A few months after joining, I understand why Intel is going down, if many employees are like that. I will never buy Intel stock, it is hopeless with these people.
Don’t get your hopes up. Packages will be much smaller than most people expect. Most likely 1 week of pay per year of service.
