Executives couldn't care less where you work. RTO strategies are about one thing, and one thing only: motivating employees to quit so the company doesn't have to pay severance when they lay them off. Downsizing the domestic work force as cheaply as possible is the grand strategy.

It’s honestly crazy since all we have heard for the past few years is how well hybrid is working. A few days in office and a few days at home is a great work-life balance. The time I spend commuting home from work could be spent preparing dinner for my family, helping my kids with homework, and still having time to relax. We have all adapted to this schedule that we were forced into and it’s proven to be more beneficial for us. It’s so sad that they don’t see it, it’s like they truly don’t care and go against everything they apparently pretend to stand for. Sad.
They need to control and monitor you so overpaid, useless managers can feel useful again with their sad lives having his team under their paws. The most fkd up part is they are insulting your intelligence while telling you to come back. I am surprised so many are so vocal about this in the internal article. I would have said something too if it weren’t disabled, but this incident even made it to the news so keep making noise people! Definitely agree with the unionize thing. I will definitely join. Life is too short to be controlled by someone else
