Office capacity in Dallas

It’s clear Atlanta is full.

That leaves only Dallas as the preferred location by the Stank.

Trying to understand what the availability seating looks like in Dallas.

Do we even have capacity to move more employees there?

The fact that they use collaboration as the reason and then can’t tell you why you have to report when there’s no one to collaborate with, tells you everything you need to know.

Then when you put their feet to the fire, they can’t give you a direct and honest answer.

Know why? Because they’re lying. That’s all they do is lie.

When you say you’re not going to do anything stoooped and then immediately do something stooped, it makes you look really stooped.

“Seriously, this is just more evidence that this is all about reducing headcount. How do these executives think they are so clever?”

You needed more evidence?

Here’s some. During a recent town hall a woman who reports to Dallas told a SVP that she was harassed late at night while trying to go into a Dallas office. The police were called and a report was made. The SVP said in front of everyone that since she was reporting late, the area wasn’t safe, and there was no collaboration taking place that her role may be a good fit for WFH. He repeatedly said they weren’t going to do anything stooooped.

Well, everyone with a night shift went to their leadership to ask if what he said applied to them. There was a second town hall at the AVP level and a HR leader was on the call. Again, we asked. Only to be ignored and not given an answer. He danced around the question. Repeated they wouldn’t do anything stooooped and that was it.

We still have solo employees reporting to offices overnight with no one else there at all. I’m literally the only one in the entire building.

How’s that for evidence this has nothing to do with collaboration?

Who the F am I collaborating with when there’s no one in the entire building?

"You lazy sluggards should already be at the office at 7am. Plenty of parking and desks."

You're the lazy sluggard. I'm in the office at 5:30am. And yes, plenty of parking and plenty of desks. But that's not the point. If the company requires you to be in a specific office 5 days a week, it shouldn't matter if you get there at 5:30 or at 10:30. You should have a desk. Period. You should have the same resources as your coworkers. And there should be enough parking.

If the company wants to go back to "the way things were", then let's go back and provide assigned desks to each employee.

Bothell doesn't seem to have a desk problem, yet. We'll see when the 600+ ATS people in the office start 5 days/week. We do have a parking problem at times, and I'm sure that will get worse.

Seriously, this is just more evidence that this is all about reducing headcount. How do these executives think they are so clever?

“ATS (Jeremy Legg) is requiring everyone back 5 days on 3/3/25 except those at Lenox and Alpharetta; Lenox and Alpharetta will go back sometime in Q2 pending construction at Lenox.”

I wouldn’t worry too much about anything Legg says at this point. He’s proven to be clueless and can never reconcile previous statements, His face gets beet red and raises his voice like a toddler when people call him out on his bullsh-t.
No L1 or L2 is ever going to be 5 day RTO at Lenox or Alpharetta. You can take that to the bank. Legg will be gone long before any 5 day RTO deadline comes. He’s just the guy that stinky stood up as a mouthpiece to execute the agenda that’s fed to him.

So, Mr. Already-at-Lenox, is it as bad to find seating and parking as some posters would have us believe? Of course, this can always change as many are assigned to move to Lenox in March and June.

Correct; Legg org L1/L2 Alpharetta/Lenox don't have to do 5 days yet.

He somehow is having a vastly different experience than everyone else. There is a reason that Lenox and Alpharetta L1/L2 don't have to do 5 days yet; there's not enough room, and more people are coming.

I’m not sure where this information is coming from. I’m L2 in ATL and required to be in Lenox full time. All the other L2 I know are the same.

They probably should have gotten 2180 Lake Blvd for Atlanta. They're using that for parking overflow anyway.

They think Atlanta will magically have space when they finish updates at Lenox. Hardly, as they have many, many more scheduled to start reporting in March and June.

"Atlanta is not full at all."

You must be at mid town because both Alpharetta and the Lenox campus is overflowing, which is why the company has had to expand parking at both of those locations since last week. Mid town is the only building that is not drop-in.

Time in the office only counts if you are at your designated work location. Stupid, I know, but thank the Stank.

"Atlanta has room for employees who plan."

Not hardly. Our floor was filled up this morning in Lenox before 8:30a. Employees should not have to plan for not having enough desks. That is CRE's job.

So there we have it folks.

If another is asked to relocate to Dallas going forward, ask them how they intend to do so without the available capacity.

They can’t do it.

Save this post for future lawsuits. Witnesses corroborating that there is no office capacity for those required to “follow the job”
Corroborates intent that targeting specific employee classes to move out of state is intended for selective punitive action and coercion to quit.
