Yeah, it's awesome when the same executives that say "get in the office, for collaboration!!" are the exact same people that keep adding Rajesh to our teams. He's in India, you'll never see him in person and that's just fine. Just think of him as 'talent in another location'', they say. It's the kind of rubbing-your-face-in-it hypocrisy that has to be an intentional effort to tank morale and motivate people to resign so they don't get a severance.
They need that building to fill all the Optimus AI robots that will be doing your work. They will work 24/7.

We should begin detailing the number of reasons why they want people back in the office.
- Do companies get local tax breaks for how many people they have in the office? The more people they have in the office, the more business local shops will get as those workers may visit them.
- If you allow work from home, the number of available candidates increases. It makes it harder for a company to justify bringing H1b people in because there is a larger US talent pool to select from.

So camaraderie can exist. How can it exist if my teammates are asleep in another country when I’m in commute to office , and vice versa. With whom will I do water-cooler talk as only minimal immediate team around. What about Chicago Plano Jersey City Columbus guys, are they all going to shift to here or is plan to move us all to India and India guys to Mars ? What is the plan? How can teams service customers if everyone is located in other places and half asleep. Fielding calls at 6, 7 am or midnight is not enough even from home, now we need to go in office and then still come home and expect to field calls at 10pm. Is everyone getting paid million bucks or just not me?
