Remember in the movie when the Titantic broke in half and the first half of the boat under water dragged the second half of the boat even faster. When all the good people are gone and product strategy has failed, what remains fails (sinks) even faster. Good luck and may everyone find a life raft. Godspeed

I find OPs message like he is living in 2010. Talking about CS1K, nortel etc etc. Noone in the industry remembers these terms….also i disagree that Avaya is heading to pawn shop like Nortel. Nortel had everything when it went bankrupt. It had a customer base, still relevant tech, people. Avaya is worthless.
No vision with old technology. 1st mistake was buying the Nortel enterprise unit. The Nortel products where much superior to the Aura solutions, not to mention the marketshare dominance. The hope was to move the majority of CS1K users to Aura. That never happened.
Now Avaya is in the back of the bus with cloud solutions. I see Avaya heading to a pawn shop just like Nortel. Sad but true. Avaya is an industry leader when it comes to hiring bone head CEO's who do nothing more than pilfer loads of money and leave.
I was pretty angry when I got the mystery Spaces meeting request from my robotic boss and Carella Deville in HR. Most of us were trying to make money for the company, even though we knew the management was impotent. Today, I realize they most likely did me a favor, letting me go in 2023. But you’ll always wonder, if the id--ts in the C suite promoted to run Avaya after the 1st bankruptcy had been let go first, would Avaya be in a much better place today? It’s incredible how some of them are still there!
You make your own luck in this life, if all your eggs are in Avaya basket what a fool you've been, Avaya is just a stepping stone to your future success and wealth so use it to your advantage 😉
