Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Mental Health Issues

From so many postings it is very clear that employees are suffering a lot at Ford by being unhappy. It may not be worth waiting indefinitely for severance pay as there is too much to lose if you stay. Your health is much more important than a Ford job. Good luck!

Same thing happened to me

I thought they were gonna save me

I endured so much trauma and went thru so much negativity it can drive a person towards places they’ve never seen

Negativity after negativity heartlessness all selfish

Speak up is not trustworthy it’s an evil system the ppl involved In hr and speak up play with human lives and they have no concern or mercy

No repercussion everything is unchecked

No checks and balances

And nobody is listening

Nobody will save u

Nobody

I've been thinking I may have some mental issue, maybe a small depresion during the last several weeks, and one big part of it could be the lack of motivation at work. I have been looking at other jobs, and I checked the employees feedback on their companies. It seems the discontent is generalized in the American workforce.

So I am trying to wrap my mind about my dislikes at Ford, trying to focus on the better parts, but still I don't feel motivated to do my job. Maybe I am tired of carrying the deadwood, maybe I am tired of dealing with id!ots, maybe it is my age, IDK. But something is not working for me, and the mo--nic objectives for this year are not helping.

HR's job is to protect the company (Company Officers, BoD, Shareholders) and to minimize financial loss. They will always act in a manner that maximizes stakeholder value. Keep that in mind when you contact SpeakUp or HR.

You can’t make an assumption that everyone on here are just trolls.
I was a Ford employee. I worked hard for the company and I honestly feel that I was treated poorly for many years prior to being laid off. My grievances are legitimate.

Speak up and submitting issues to HR is pointless. I submitted absolute proof of wrongdoing. After HR investigated, they came back with no issues found.

Did you really come to a site about layoffs looking for happy employees? Personally, I'm not happy working at Ford, but I have my reasons, and my story is mine alone. Many I work with act like they're happy. That said, I'm not insinuating that the majority of employees are happy or unhappy, but this site represents a very small sample of Ford employees and certainly should not be used as a gage for measuring employee satisfaction. Besides that, many here are simply trolls trying to stir things up.

Speak up said the same thing to me when they were the active reason I was being crushed and I poured my heart out then they faked the investigation and said they found no wrong doing stoically

Don’t worry your pretty little heart too much, no on on here is actually a Ford employee. We are a bunch of trolls fabricating a world, just some of them actually have started to believe they are engaging with real people.

Hmm, employees are miserable and there are widespread mental health concerns throughout the company. Should we dial back the negativity and beat down culture? Nah, just tell people to meditate and practice mindfulness. That’ll fix it.

First announce layoffs then send around mental health support mails. FOE employees are very familiar with this.
