I am wondering if this is a bad sign. To receive an email to update workday contact information?!

Current headcount at 12:06 ET on 10/21/22 down to 35,563 and dropping. They still report we have 44k employees - lies
Isn’t this a sad commentary on the state of this company? We’re all on edge about being RIF’d because of the ongoing arterial cuts to all areas of the company. This culture definitely doesn’t encourage loyalty or motivation.
I believe this is just a standard process of making sure the right address is on file, and is most likely associated with annual benefits as they need to mail the overview packet to you. Everyone received that workday request.
Received one to validate my associates’ office locations by Nov 4.
Ignore it lol
I got 3 email till now!
Did it months ago. For JSOC to contact you
In today’s email about 2023 benefits, they’re still claiming 44,000 associates.
It's for the mass layoff in the next few weeks, HR will be sending your severance package to you via snail mail as they don't have enough resources to meet with everyone individually. Also so facilities knows where to send your personal belongings. This will be the end of the line for most of you!
Benefit packages for 2023 are being sent soon that it’s probably with that.
I also just got the email "A Task Awaits You..."
But I followed the link and got the same message.
"Details of the requested business process transaction below are no longer viewable by your user account."
I got those notices periodically while I was employed at Fiserv. The timing didn't indicate anything untoward.
I got one too!
I got one as well. It’s under “Timely Suggestions” section on the Workday homepage. It doesn’t show up under “Awaiting Your Action” section so hopefully nothing to stress over.
I got one as well and when I tried to access the issue in workday it says;
"Details of the requested business process transaction below are no longer viewable by your user account."
The stated purpose is for the JSOC to keep track of people in case of an emergency. They're not really great at that, but I don't think it's anything to worry about.
I just did! Yikes? No news yet, you?
