EV development should be just a “sandbox” project, like it used to be. Maybe a few electric powertrains for specialized vehicles like delivery trucks.
Ford should be investigating and experimenting with many things. R&D.
If anyone develops a long-lasting and/or cheap battery, and our electrical infrastructure is bulked-up to handle the load, then the knowledge and experience may be useful.

15 were cut from PD/IT , announced last monday, their last day is end of month. I don't know what "the big one" means but that's big to those 15 families.
