Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Ford guys surely cannot let this go unchallenged. GM could recall more than 870,000 vehicles due to reports of engine failure.

How about 1,000,000 Ford F-150 Trucks produced between 2022-2025 being mandatory recalled due to the bed of the truck separating from the truck frame due to Ford workers forget to torque the bolts securing the truck's bed to the frame. GM will feel outclassed in the recall game by Ford!

Government Motors could be forced to issue a car recall for engine failure
General Motors makes many of the most popular vehicles. This is the case because several brands fall under the GM umbrella. According to Reuters, the company could issue a new car recall for some of what many call the best vehicles to buy. This comes as the NHTSA is launching a probe into 877,710 models made by GM.

Of course, this hasn’t reached the car recall stage yet. However, the NHTSA is investigating because of reports of engine failure in these vehicles. This includes some models of the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Tahoe, Chevrolet Suburban, GMC Yukon, and the Cadillac Escalade. Specifically, the year models include 2019-2024. Notably, the impacted models use the L87 V8 engines.

This potential car recall involves bearing failure that could lead to the engine in these vehicles seizing. There are also reports of the engine blocks being breached. Naturally, this is a massive safety risk, as engine failure while driving could lead to a crash. So far, there have been 39 complaints about this issue with the engines, which is why the NHTSA has launched a probe. There have been no crashes so far related to the problem. Still, the reports say they had no signs of engine failure before it happened.

Of course, if the NHTSA finds that there is a widespread problem, it could cause a massive car recall. General Motors is cooperating with the investigation into this issue.

Who turned off the torque monitor on the DC rundown? That’s a critical fastener. Ford QOS is a joke.

The CEO who was the Chief Engineer over electronics who knew nothing about the ignition switch issue… She should be in jail for lying under oath…
