Leaving isn't as an easy call as I thought it would be. Right now, I’m stuck debating whether to take a less-than-perfect offer (slightly lower pay) or stick it out here. Sure, this place is exhausting and the pressure’s relentless, but starting over from scratch after all this time is a whole different level of scary.

Totally get it. I was in the same place for a LONG time after many, many years at BNY. The fear had me frozen. And then it wasn’t my choice anymore because of location. BEST THING EVER. Scary, yes. Much to learn, yes. Weird being the newbie, yes. But I’m also kicking myself self for not doing it sooner because now I actually like my job. I work with talented people who also like their job. Company communication is clear and consistent. I had forgotten what a healthy work environment actually is I won’t make that mistake again.
