Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Do I need to tell new employer I still work at Ford?

I don't do much work at Ford just like the rest of the people there so I decided to apply around and get more work while still milking the paycheck here.

You can work a second job as long as you fill out the conflict-of-interest form online and your management approves it. I worked at Ford as a LL6 engineer and a second job on the weekends for 20 years. As long as it is approved, and your Ford performance meets your bosses' standards you are good. I made enough money to retire at 57, life is good

smart
they don't invest in you why should you invest in them
don't put a lot of your time and energy (wealth) into something where you will not get a lot of return back
