From the top comes messaging that everything is great and for those who have good metrics they want more from them. Since September it’s been a living he-l to be at work. Even if your numbers are good you still get scolded as they coach to the behaviors stacked spreadsheet.

When I worked at Fidelity Investments I got bonus and chairman’s bonus. Abby took good care of her employees everywhere. There were politics from a manager that rarely came to the office, and undermined others who were working. It takes just one bad apple 🍎

There was literally one Christmas bonus once, ever. That was not a precedent-setting example and it was communicated that way as well.

Signs Of Social Media Addiction:

• Spending an excessive amount of time on social media
• Thinking obsessively about social media, even when not using it
• Withdrawing from other activities (like spending time with family or hobbies)
• Obsessing over online image and reputation
• Feeling anxious when one cannot check social media
• Spending a lot of time thinking about and planning social media posts
• Obsessing over social media interactions (like comments, chats, likes, shares, etc.)
• Neglecting tasks and duties because of social media use
• An inability to cut back on social media use
• Doomscrolling

3rd year in a row, no Christmas bonus. Billions in profits. Trillions in AUA. No raises. No shares. Inflation has gutted our buying power, but no Cola. Now smile and tell customers, "it's gonna be okay." Meanwhile I'm broke.
