What is going on with Redhat OS upgrade

Is the bank no longer supporting os upgrades of existing redhat servers to 8 and then 9?
We just lost like 20 contractors working on that program

Was that Dell that wells fargo cut ties with ? Ir seems most contractors are provided by Dell then was outsourcing employees to other companies. They must be making tons of money to afford to pay middle man.

They are still upgrading RH7 to RH8 and doing new server builds with RH8z

There was one contracting company that WF decided to cut ties with that affected a lot of contractors across IT.

Makes sense if they're moving RH servers to the cloud. Cloud providers do the server administration.

In place upgrades have been approved. It’ll happen eventually, just no rush.
