1 hour counts. I’ve been doing that ever since RTO started. Manager always happy. I have a hard time working with the noise, smell and constant movement that comes with working in a cube. None of my team works in my location so it’s pretty pointless for me to be there.

Sack up and ask HR. If you’re worried about this, this is not the place for you. I’m sorry.
While you drive around for no reason, I actually am working. Driving to a building isn't my job. Sitting in traffic isn't my job. Getting dressed to go to an office isn't my job. Getting distracted by random people that have nothing to do with my role isn't my job. Stop pretending that RTO has anything to do with work. It's a layoff program, and nothing more. Shart could not care less where you work. He just wants you to quit so he doesn't have to pay your severance. That's it. That's the only purpose, and it's been the objective since day 1 of RTO.
sigh.........................
Just re-hire your kids daycare and GO. BACK. TO. WORK
