I was hired in late March 2024 as VP and had my first year end compensation review this week but was told that my salary will remain the same, only receiving a bonus. Is this normal at JPMC and if so why didn't I get a salary increase as well?

JP Morgan employee here, apparently this has happened across the board. I did recieve a salary increment last year though. With the return to office and the company posting record profits it leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

This is normal/common scenario. There are VPs which have been VPs for donkey years.
