Remotes given 12 months to relocate
Because it's just a pretense to get people to leave without severance pay.
I have been fully remote since 2008. Why would I be forced to relocate to a city where I have never lived, go to an office that I never been to or get a reduced bonus when I have been remote for 15+ years?
is this for everyone? or just salesmen? What about those that chose full remote back in like Sep last year when we had that choice to remain remote, but any future postions would be hybrid? Does that choice no longer matter for everyone?
FY26 starts in Feb....
What a clown company. I was hired remote, rolled out and found another job in 2 months once they announced RTO. Remote was the only way they could attract talent since nobody worth a dime isn't going to relocate for Dell and their subpar pay and clown culture. If I have to relocate, I'm going to get paid.
Remotes will not be given reduced bonus, remotes will be forced relocate or face disciplinary action so it's either move or get fired
We had plenty of people working full-time remote for years prior to 2019. Why not truly go back to the way it was back then?
5 days a week, but 2019 policy and no more flags or tracking etc. Just back to the way things were before. Remotes on the other hand will receive reduced bonuses, no raises and no promotions
Hybrid is gone, current hybrid will be 5 days a week in office, remote given 12 months to relocate
Finance will be provided to create desk space etc
I heard 5 day RTO was FY26, no specific dates given. But how does 5 day RTO = Hybrid?
Highly doubt 12 months. I think 6 months maximum. And your skip will need an answer yes or no to get confirmation on your commitment to relocate.
I can confirm that I've also heard this information. You choose remote. Now sleep with it.
