Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

When can we finally get back to business as usual?

This whole mess is getting exhausting.

Why would you want to do that? Business as usual is supposedly a failure, this layoffs and reorgs. Hello

Not for a while. ENGINE is behind schedule, hiring seems to be down to a crawl, and the Manufacturing Townhall was devoid of new information. They don't have the replacement workers lined up to end this anytime soon.

Hopefully soon! And with a lot less of something!!!

Agreed! You'd think that with how frequently Chevron does this they'd be SME's by now - completing these actions at lightening speed rather than dragging it out. Maybe next time it should be handed over to the ENGINE since current performance - after having been given a number of chances - didn't deliver a quality product at an acceptable rate.

And then ongoing Engine issues and staffing "adjustments "

2 years. Better part of a year going through cuts and then a year of sh-t show as the dust settles.
