It's amazing how confident those at the top are that they are doing a good job.
I don't believe you could find a few employees who think that the leadership has a good strategy and does its job well, but they are convinced of it.
Their inflated egos won't allow them to have any doubts about their performance. Just my opinion.

Like this past weekend's 20th Chinese Party Congress.
When you are at the top, you rarely think about the cannon fodder at the bottom. Of course, they play hard at that level so you have to self-promote like crazy, back-stab the other guys, keep your loyalists in check..
