Hi guys from around the world.
Not sure if you heard yet, but there is a change for Mid-Size account managers on the way. Leadership seems to have a problem with double commissioning virtual sales and the field account managers at the same time.
Other companies, like Oracle, also did this in the past but already switched back because they declined their sales.
Did you hear anything about this rumor, does it affect you? What will you do?
Cheers from Europe

These products don't sell themselves. Especially nowadays when there is more competition than ever. And if you think the partners will loyally sell only Cisco you are also delusional.
The segment needs to go away OR get rid of field AM/SA. Go all in on virtual Cisco sales resources and let channel partners maintain face to face relationships.
All the Field Commercial Account Managers do is call the resellers and Virtual Reps on Friday and ask them what to forecast on Monday
Then the Field Account Manager goes back to their other job
Rinse, Repeat
Waste of Billions in double Commissions
Rinse, Repeat
Cisco shouldn’t even bother with tiny customers like this.
