I've been contacted many times in the past by recruiters trying to hire contractors for Cigna. They always offer me way more money at a higher band than I currently am for the exact same job. They vanish when they realize I'm currently working there as a FTE.

Here we go again. Silent rolling layoffs for the next several months with Dordani patting himself on the back raking in money while people suffer.

They pay agencies a lot per hour. I hear Cigna paid 120 per hr to an agency who in turn provides the onshore contractor. Agency takes a big cut of the contractor’s pay.

Oh they are more than happy to pay $50k more yearly for a contract employee on shore. Just contacted by a recruiter for the same job i was doing before JE for $80/hr.
Can't hate this company enough.

The company is growing the employee base in India, not America. Adding overseas employees is the new way to offshore our jobs.
