I've been notified. But I also heard the sev pkg is only 2 weeks (total). That bites. Does Oracle fall under Texas employment law or the state in which you are based?

Is there a RIF taking place in EMEA at the moment with people being given notice of termination?
It figures. They could give it one day earlier so that we could have a great St. Patrick's Day celebration on our first day off.
Oh wait, we still can, since that would be the last day on 2 weeks notice.

What a weird post. I can understand being nervous, but portraying that you have something official when you have only a rumor is pretty lame. How about when you have something in writing you get back to us?

I haven't received the official notification ... just the local team chatter. I have 25 years under my belt.
Which team/org? Usually 2 weeks notice, so if u r claiming its March, then its not legit in my opinion.
