@f1+1jjmnny2y The issue is that they are flat out telling us that it won’t carryover as agreed by Cigna and HCSC.
Most large groups and self funded employers allow for deductible and out of pocket credit to be applied if you have to change carriers mid year
Sometimes you have to show proof and sometimes they do it automatically
MA is going to HCSC, but I agree it is increasingly frustrating delaying healthcare because of OOP impacts. Our overlords think they pay us enough where we should be fine losing at least an entire month of deductible amounts.
I know what you mean, being in limbo with your health coverage. Cigna provider network is horrible in my local area and it's a struggle to find providers for the last few years. My family has special needs and we are banking on being able to leverage our local blue cross provider network as we join HCSC. We found a great provider nearby who takes bcbs and they have availability to see us but, but are quickly filling up and I fear we will miss out of getting a available open slot for therapy. We can't start until we have BCSC coverage and Cigna doesn't pay me enough to be able to afford them today as out of network provider. This is the only positive thing for me to come out of going to HCSC.
You’re going to HCSC.
