Security keys

Has anyone else had to use these security keys?
Is this just another way to track us?

Just another example of Executives falling for vendor bullsh-t, After all the breaches last year you can be security vendors were up T's executives a-s hard last year trying to sell this... Security keys only benefit is they offer an automatic way for more complex passwords, but that's not how most of these breaches happen so its a lot of security theatre...and big commission checks for those key vendors

It's a way for Baich to claim logins are more secure and continue giving usage stats on his accomplishment powerpoint slides which try to make him seem valuable.

We already login with our credentials that have to current and recognized by security. I don't get why we another item to carry around and used to login.

They want you to think it’s not another tracking tool, which means it is. Don’t be fooled.

There's no tracking functionality it's simply another multi-factor authentication tool.

No more than mobile key or using an RSA Token. Using the key is much more secure using Fido2. Best impossible to fish a user since the physical key must be plugged in.

I am sure there is a reason, besides the obviously they will use it to track us, the company will provide. We know it's another micromanagement tool used on us vis-a-vis the 'culture evolution'. What Stankey failed to say is that he thinks Orwell's 1984 was the blueprint for culture.
