I wonder how much longer this place can survive? We are all fed up and exhausted but SLT wants more with less. I was looking at the org charts and seeing the large number of Staff VPs. What to we need these guys for? They are taking all the. Bonus money from us and giving us more stupid projects that have no staff or funding to complete. What a circus
Feel the exact same way as OP. I have one performance goal for 2025 - Get the h_ll out of this toxic work environment.

Do the least amount you can. Hide information. If your boss yells at you, don't care. Don't believe any of the empty statements that HR, Gail, and other id--t leaders say about how you matter. Blame everyone else always.
Live by those rules and you will be an executive at this company in no time. That is who they are. Be like them.
We were recently told we’d be essentially be doing two jobs (workload from those let go). And have to sign our names to that workload. Concerns we raised were met with generic gaslighting. Feels like a setup. I’m at the point where the stuff I used to be passionate about and good at what I do, I just don’t care anymore. At all. I’ve checked out too. It’s difficult to stay motivated to even do the bare minimum. Going to keep looking outside for opportunities, I would gladly take a pay cut to get out of here.
And these performance appraisals, I am like whatever don’t care anymore meets or exceeds…. I am getting peanuts anyway !! Chuck it
It’s purposive. Leaders are more interested in telling stories to benefit themselves rather than allowing teams to bring innovation up. It’s better for them to act as if there is no talent, tie your hands so you can’t function and then position themselves to be the leader that did xyz or things will fall apart.
