Why do we have market HR business partners when our questions are deferred to HR One Stop will we ask them?

Maybe because what you are asking about, the HR manager has no information or control over? Many things like paycheck questions or benefits questions they are told not to answer because HR one stop can look up specific employee details and the HRBP cannot.

After reading the thread on here regarding Cricket, I called my buddies over there to verify. That’s the type of stuff that takes a company down.

HR doesn’t care. Look at what is going on at Cricket. Bribery, bullying, discrimination. HR has done nothing. Anyone who complains gets layed off.

The AT&T HR department is worthless for the employee. The department exists solely to protect the company.

Why do I have to explain the HR policy to the HRBP?

The largest do nothing group in the company.

“You have to call me, so I can ask you what the policy is and then give you my thoughts on a situation I have never dealt with and have no practical knowledge or experience.”
