Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Pressure Won’t Bring People Back to the Office. Something Else Might.

Interesting article with several studies completed over the last few years to provide real data. Of course this does not change the fact that Stankey's real reason for RTO is to reduce the size of the AT&T workforce, it just further supports that being the reality.

That article is just the next C-suite fad in the making. They will roll out a huge gaslighting campaign of internal propaganda to sing the praises of the benefits of in-office work and put in nicer paper towel holders and say they are making the offices more inviting. They think they can sell you a tvrd by calling it a sausage. Most of this has already started.

"Wrong. Posting paywalled articles that are probably pro RTO will get you thumbs downed every time by real employees."

They must have gotten a significant number of hits. It was not behind a paywall earlier. As well, it was on our MS Edge AT&T page and available for free also, which is where I first saw it.

" I love that this post which is just delivering facts based on empirical data is being voted down. It says so much about the company."

It's not the company, it's the weird and lonely cache clearing guy.
