Years of Service Retirement details?

We have lost a lot of coworkers over the past few years. Some from RIFs, some from voluntary separation, and a handful from years of service retirement.

I was recently made aware of years of service early retirement. Does anyone know the eligibility details around this and what it entails?

The largest benefit is 25% of your salary gets dumped into your 401k as well but as said earlier. You have to have at least 10 years of service and your age plus years of service must equal 70. If you have RSU’s the 25% does not apply. Clear as mud? Lol

Regarding what @an+1jk48h4wa posted, it’s 10 years of service not 20. You’ll definitely look it up on Connect to understand all the requirements, including how much advance notice you must provide.

And you get to keep your Windows 2000 laptop!

“Can’t remember exactly what you get tho if you volunteer for it“

All you get is to keep your RSUs. It’s better to be part of a RIF with a package.

It’s 70yr aggregate. With min 20yr of service. Read the info on connect. It’s all there

I think you have to be at least 55 years old (maybe 50?) and your age plus years of service at crown added together must be over 70. Can’t remember exactly what you get tho if you volunteer for it
