Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Where did skip level meetings go?

I haven't seen or heard of one in years now. Our manager is just pathetic and production and moral are at all time lows. No appreciation to people under him, only shows up to complain that we need to do more with fewer people. All we can hope for I guess is the company split will get rid of his sorry butt.

So they could have a spin off of aerospace automation, don’t worry they won’t skip the skip meeting when it comes to layoff and RIF. May you rest in peace.

I couldn’t figure out why there was a graveyard across the street. Honey, well will put you in an early grave.

I have worked here for 2 years and have seen my supervisor only twice so far. He sits in the same building but doesn't interact with anyone in the team except to ask us for updates so that he can report it up to his manager. Never once does he give us directions, instructions or guidance and our team does random things that we think is important. This guy also gets paid in the 7 figures. Can't wait for Elliot to trim the fat.

Way back in the day skip level meetings used to be good. Decent lunch and you actually got to share some things a with someone a few levels up. Skip Levels became a joke when they started bring someone from HR management with them. What are they afraid of anyway? I think these meetings just became a yearly check the box for VP's and they really did not want to change anything. Who's going to really speak up much with HR there?

Skip level never resolved anything. Ratting out your direct boss is never a good thing

We just had one other day at first everyone declined the meeting as we didn't know what is was then a follow up email mail said was mandatory to go. We all still were whats this about know one ever told us about it. So we went and ah HR involved and yes had talk about ones above us FUN FUN. Will it change anything about ones above on what was said us probably not they all are micro managers.
