I read that all union represented people will get their raise as stated in the contract and not have to worry about ratings. Such an anti-union company.

Whole system is corrupt. Got told long time ago by someone pretty senior in refining that the game was to give out high proportion of 3’s and ensure there was plenty of 1’s and 2’s for grades 16+. Didn’t believe it til I saw it happen

Going back to 3 box system. Whatever system they use it will still be based on popularity and not performance

With a few exceptions top ratings have been the result of the buddy system and a popularity contest.

Yeah, heard a rumor they're scrapping 1-5 in favor of like... 1-2 = "Exceeds Expectations", 3 = "High Performer", 4-5 ="Needs Improvement" or something along those lines.

Exercise in futility if you ask me. Repackaging meets expectations as high performer won't actually make anyone feel better about not getting a 1 or 2. The problem has always been that contribution isn't actually reflected in ratings. Personal feelings on the part of leadership plays an oversized role in ratings.
