10% chop = 14K
20% chop = 28K.
Assume this round is somewhere in between.

Q2 earnings release understated our headcount.
Internally the number is over 135k.
A 30% cut is really needed, maybe 2 phases @15% each.
Way to many useless higher grades as well as worker bees.
For Intel to ever be great again everyone from the BoD down need to be cut

Intel - don’t go hiring green badges because they affect the bottom line differently. Green badges gotta go first. Period. All of them. Win back the hearts of your employees Pat.
Then change the RCG policies and last hired first fire. Loyalty is key.
And incidentally make managers manage- no extra projects for them. A real meritocracy levels the playing field. Then rank and rate the managers according to how successful their direct reports do.
Treat the workers better than you do customers and watch Ontel come back to life.
