What is the company strategy? Do you know? What is the vision that Ford will be working towards 5 years from now? Let me tell you where Fords profitability is - Global Cost &Tooling ... benchmarking ... see what everyone else is doing and copy it. That department is growing rapidly because they have so much work to do cutting costs. The problem is that's not a recipe for success. It's a backwards approach.

That story is missing the mark. They blame the Ford EV business, but the accurate way to describe it is the (current) Ford EV business is the problem. Either the author is trying to misinform, or, is ignorant of the facts, but the truth is the next-gen Model e products address all the shortcomings we have now in the critical EV market including the profitability issue.

Take media stories like this with a grain of salt, if that.
