There have been some layoffs of long term employees (24+ years) working in downstream recently. All from legacy Husky. More to come.

What projects have been cancelled, aside from Core/SAP?
They are restructuring downstream to be more profitable because if they don’t our stock will go down more. If you have assets, they need to be profitable or you need to get rid of them and invest the money in places that are. Pretty simple.
Projects are getting cancelled, senior leadership isn't being replaced, people getting laid off....
We about to be acquired. Get ready.
Layoffs likely after Feb 20th?? So many projects being cancelled - seems like panic mode has set in. Folks might as well find other jobs before the market gets worse!
Sorry for those being laid off. Be careful with HR. They verbally reference policies and rules that they then claim they can’t share with you in writing. That’s always a red flag. Get everything documented and if they refuse hire your own lawyer in the U.S.
Did legacy CVE have a lot of long term Downstream staff? Of course they are from legacy HSE.
