Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Retiring from AT&T!!

It . Finally . Arrived!

I was asked why. Why now at this time? I knew I was ready to leave, and I thought I didn't have an answer to give. Then it popped into my mind with crystal clarity.

AT&T has put more effort into undermining my religious faith, and my personal values and morals than they have ever expended to ensure I had the necessary resources to successfully complete the work they were paying me to do.

[Insert Mike Drop]

Good luck to the rest of you until it's your turn~

Following you out the door in September, OP. I agree these past 10-12 years have been a test of everything I value in life. You've reached your finish line. Relax and enjoy.

However, AT&T never had (nor should they have) any obligation to care for YOUR religious values. They should have an obligation to generally respect their employees, customers, etc. But when you mix YOUR religion into the mix you lose me. Just another crutch to want to force your mystical ideas on us enlightened ones.

Sort of like you want DEI forced upon the rest of us. Right?

“What healthcare will you be using?”

All the major insurance companies off PPO’s and HMO’s as part of the exchange at healthcare.gov. What may surprise you (or probably not at this point) is that many of the plans are cheaper than what your subsidized AT&T plan is.
