Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Posts that don't make sense

  1. Advice to employees - Save your breath, too darned late if anyone waits for your advice
  1. Advice to company - Unless you're in Stockholm why care about some company that doesn't care about you? Besides, like "the company" is gonna take your advice from here. Heck they don't even take advice from their own internal surveys lol stop the hilarity

But if you're here to vent please keep going because that's what this place is actually for

@hsa+1jlnPzDT How many of your friends actually read this forum, and how come advice weren't already privately given? C'mon... this is a forum for randos, not "friends and family"...

Is not the advice to the company or to employees in general that matters but the advice to the ones you call friends and consider family after all these years working shoulder to shoulder with them.

If you have not experienced this comradery working at Intel, then you will never be able to understand or comprehend what these type of advice's means.

At the end of the day, the real "Intel" is you and the ones close to you working day by day in the good and also in the ugly times and if you have not figured that out yet, then I wish you well but don't try to think you know what Intel is or is not...

We the ones that cares about our fellow employees will give advice and share as much as we can until the last day, and we will stick together regardless of the outcome since that is the true Intel and not just a corporation registered on Delaware. Good luck.

"... why care about some company that doesn't care about you?"

Because they pay you?

Whatever happened to an honest day's pay for an honest day's work?
